The Dawg House

Chuck and Lori Moore are the owners of The Dawg House. Their common-sense business savvy and love of dogs make them the perfect people to run a great place like this. 

They have spent over 30 years raising, caring for, and training their family dogs. The Moores have raised strictly German Shepherds for over 30 years, and truly are "dog people"; but, also encountered great difficulties when trying to locate boarding that would accept German Shepherd  dogs (one that was up to their standards). Therefore, the idea of creating a top-of-the-line boarding facility was born.  They want to help others who may have had this same struggle. 

Chuck has a great understanding of how dogs are "wired" and what "makes them tick". He understands mannerisms and behaviors, and knows how to deal positively with several different breeds.

Lori is a dog lover. From spending time one-on-one with her own dogs over the last 35 years to spending over two years volunteering at the local animal shelter multiple times a week, she has had many opportunities to make a dog's life better. She knows the best toys, the perfect spot for a good scratch, and when a pup just needs a little extra TLC. She brings a whole lot of heart to the House. 

Chuck and Lori were high school sweethearts and were married in 1985. The Moores are from Central Indiana and currently reside in Sweetser - just a short 3  minutes from The Dawg House.
